WebEmpowerment is the process of enhancing the capacity of individuals or groups to make choices and to transform those choices into desired actions and outcomes. The contemporary view of capacity-building goes beyond the conventional perception of training. Webchy is termed as eve empowerment in this paper. The paper also distinguishes between eve empowerment and psy-chological empowerment. While the former (eve empow-erment) is contextual in nature, the latter (psychological empowerment) is a motivational construct. Both these variables are linked to the experience of general well-be-ing.
