Don;t know but it is possible that the pedal is resting on teh clutch fork and this is resting on the release bearing so there is the potential for some wear there (a bit like folk resting their left foot on the clutch pedal. When the slave cylinder is completely back (unengaged), there is some play with the fork and the slave cylinder piston to keep a preload off of the throwout bearing. But, after I depress the clutch pedal, the slave cylinder does not return completely back.
